We picked Department of Eagles album In Ear Park as one of our favorite records of 2008 and now they finally have a video. The video is for “No One Does it Like You,” which premiered at
New York’s Musuem of Modern Art.
The video was directed by Marcel Dzama and Patrick Daughters. The video is war themed
with dancing masked female soldiers, ghosts, severed limbs and blood.

Yuma Koshino
Japan Fashion Week is underway, and it’s what you’d expect for the most part–lots of color, texture, pattern and high drama. Much like the other fashion we’ve seen this season, there is a definite intensity of volume in these collections.

I stumbled upon this collection of exclusive garments produced for Opening Ceremony by New York- based Pegleg on Hyperbeast. Even though I’m not the hugest fan of color, I instantly fell in love with these bold designs, which are definitely made to stand out. The 3-color blocked T-shirts are available at Opening Ceremony’s online store.

This is the latest video from the always intoxicating Patrick Wolf. It’s from his latest album The Bachelor, which will be released on April 20th. It’s the first part of a double album with the second part entitled The Conqueror, coming out in 2010.
The video is definitely NSFW and is very sexually charged. With glimpses of Patrick’s bareside and him rolling around nearly naked in S&M gear while singing “Losing my head to Hollywood”. The video has been deemed too provocative even for late night viewing in the UK.
The clip was directed by Wolf, himself, and the wardrobe for the video featured a sculptural vulture cape that was commissioned from acclaimed up-and-coming designer Ada Zanditon. The song should have all the kids in black dancing, and is leaving me quite excited for the album to drop.
