This Galliano’s Winter ’08 ad scares me.  It’s so Janis Joplin meets Pennywise, and that’s enough to scare anyone.  Pennywise crashes Woodstock.

Oh, and guess the model—don’t know???????

Who isn’t dying to get some sweet jazz into their lives? I love all the jazzy shoes there are to choose from this season–I’ve been waiting for a fancy oxford glut for years! Keep it casual or get fancy, the choice is yours:

(left to right)

Franco Sarto Devote– Zappos

Made by Elves Oxford Heel-Urban Outfitters

Becks Bootie – Steve Madden

Claudia Ciuti ‘Luella’ Oxford – Nordstrom (maybe for the jaded, but not for the poor. Still worth a look.)

Street Walking: Fashion at the M.O.C.A’s “Murakami” show

Threadtrend ventured out to the see what people were wearing on the streets in L.A. on Saturday At M.O.C.A. for the Murakami art exhibit. Style was not “hanging” around like the art inside, as we thought according to prior trips to the Museum. After a successful day of thrift store shopping and a confusing search for something to eat through the balls of Los Angeles,We both thought that the “Fashionistas” and “Hopsters“that would flock to the most talked about art shows to hit L.A. in a while, would be the antacid to the “kind of” scrumptious Mexican food we settled for, but we had no luck. On that cold and somber afternoon , we figured that all of the Scenesters at the Murakami show, forgot to pick up their dry cleaning that morning.

I mean, our time was not completely wasted, with both of our stomach’s full and some cute “thrift scores” in the car, We sat outside through the shuffle of some “questionable” outfits and even Some fashion 9-1-1’s, especialyl by a girl wearing TEVAS sandals and not in an ironic way (at her age…pshaw!!!!! she should Know better!”).

Here are some of the slim pickings we thought were “Threadtrend” worthy:

YUM, YUM,YUM…How do you spell Cute skirt? M-I-C-K-E-Y M-O-U-S-E!

Cute Stir up Leggings, finally! someone Knows how to do L.A in the Fall.
