At first, I really didn’t care about the new 90210 because I was never quite into the original. The reason for that is, at the time, I was watching Degrassi Jr. High. Degrassi, with it’s grainy film, natural light and its endearingly average looking cast, made 90210 look too gaudily faux, so it never grabbed me.

So, how ironic is it that my reason for eagerly awaiting this incarnation of the show about kids from Beverly Hills is a Degrassi: The Next Generation cast member?
