Just One Frickin Day is a website with a mission…or lots of missions, actually, but their current one is in collaboration with the Solar Electric Light Fund to bring electricity to Burundi. The main goal of the project is to raise $500,000 to build the first solar powered hospital to the small and impoverished African country, where when night falls, doctors are literally left working in the dark with little more than headlamps for light. Not to mention that no electricity also means no x-rays, refrigeration, or ultra-sounds.
To raise the funds, they’ve enlisted the help of designers like Phillip Lim, Rogan, Chris Benz, Rag & Bone, Giambattista, House of Diehl, and to create designer shirts for the cause. Each shirt is 100% organic cotton and all designs are limited to 100 pieces. All the proceeds go to charity.
