Target has been working hard to emulate high fashion for awhile now with its big name diffusion lines, and now they’re really going for it by jumping on the pop-up shop train. Hoping to add to the hysteria of fashion week, the discount retailer is opening four “bullseye bodega” shops in the streets of Manhattan (East Village, midtown, Soho, and Union Square).
The temporary shops will focus on the upcoming Jonathan Saunders line, which has yet to be previewed, but I’m hoping for lots of color blocking, myself. They’ll also be hawking Anya Hindmarch bags and Sigerson Morrison shoes, so it will be pretty hard to walk away empty handed.
