The Recycled Dead: Roadkill, the Jewelry Line

The first to come from The Recycled Dead is fittingly called Roadkill. The jewelry and accessory line is made from the dead and the decaying. They use teeth, claws, bones and feathers to create wearable and unique pieces that showcase personal style.

The materials are mainly collected from Native Americans who believe that if an animal is killed, every part of it is should be put to use. The first collection can be purchased at Slow on Melrose or by contacting the designers directly here.

They will be having their first public showing this Saturday at Hang the DJ’s fashion show dance party:
