REFINERY 29 has acknowledged the return of classic vintage-inspired jumpsuits in the most classic fabric of them all, denim. We all know that jumpsuits have very strong roots in the 80’s. I mean who doesn’t remember the oh-so- flattering acid wash renditions with elastic waist or the sleek Black polyester versions with shoulder sequins?

Some of our favorite brands have mixed the 80’s staple with classic WWII ROSIE THE RIVETER inspiration to create very wearable denim one pieces that will have you feeling all ultra-American. The three above are from (left to right) MAYLE $595, ACNE $369, and LOVER $430.

I got to thinking about all the denim jumpsuits I’ve passed up at the thrift stores for, like, $4.00 and now I’m thinking I should have snagged a couple. In-case you don’t thrift (what’s wrong with you?), there are a few options on EBAY that might suit your fancy.

First up is Gramps in a vintage Maserati number ending Apr. 8th. Love him!

2nd is a super classy faux denim polyester piece also ending Apr. 8th

If all else fails, you can make your own with this vintage Vogue pattern ending Apr. 5th

You advocate the usage of jumpsuits but are against slotted sunglasses? Wow.
