Wooden Jewelry still lives on

These wood and fiberglass cuffs by designer Colgate Searle from Brooklyn’s UM Projects epitomize how quality wooden jewelry should be. They reminded me of how much I love wooden jewelry and, unfortunately, how badly megachains like Target and Walmart ran it in the ground. All hope is not lost. There are still some great indie designers out there creating au natural pieces of wearable art, but you may have to pay more than $4.98 to get it. Just check these out:
