Manish Arora Spring 2008: Indian Pop Art meets high fashion!!! Yes!!!
manish-arora-1.jpg
When I saw this dress in the November 2007 issue of Vogue India (worth picking up when you can find it, since its jam packed with more fun, ethnic style than American Vogue) I nearly flipped! It is the perfect mix of Whimsy and fashion. So Threadtrend!

This is just one of the flamboyant pieces from Indian designer, Manish Arora‘s, Spring 2008 line shown at Paris Fashion Week. Manish Arora meshes Indian Pop Art, 60’s and 70’s psychedelia, and loud bollywood influences to create dresses, pants, tunics, and just about everything else you can dream up.

Arora’s aesthetic is SO right now, what with it’s bold colors and graphics, not to mention it’s cultural inspiration. While some pieces are, in my opinion, not the most wearable, others like this dress are! Can’t you just imagine this with (simple) Gold heels and a big obnoxious Gold ring?! It’s like a party in a dress!
